SEO Analysis
Analytics are very important to understanding your website traffic. Basically analytics comes from the root word analysis and the science thereof.
Analytics are the gathering of data and putting that data into graphs, trends, percentages and any other formula for that matter to understand the data of the website that was collected from visitors or customers.
With analytics you can see into things like IP addresses of the visitors, whether they be a live human being or a robot from a search engine or some other form of bot.
Analytics also show you what websites referred traffic from links that are connected to your website. Usually these links are called one way links, back links, or reciprocal links from a possible link exchange that you took part in.
Analytics also show what key words or key word phrases were used in search engines to find your site. Some analytics even show what search engine the key words are coming from.
Analytics can even determine from what country your visitors are coming from and the percentage of visits from each country or state and even county or city for that matter.
The most famous of all is probably Google Analytics, however there are other analytics that are just as good, in fact each program has it's strengths and weaknesses.
